LONDON, ON (August 22, 2019) – As a result of the continued investigation into the August 14, 2019, collision on Woodman Avenue that resulted in an explosion and fire, eight additional charges have been laid against a 23-year-old Kitchener woman. Daniella Alexandra Leis, 23, of Kitchener, is additionally charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

- Impaired operation over 80 mg causing bodily harm x 4, and
- Criminal negligence causing bodily harm x 4

The charge of impaired operation of a conveyance exceeding the blood alcohol concentration was withdrawn because it is included in the new impaired operation over 80 mg causing bodily harm charges.

Including the four counts of impaired operation causing bodily harm originally laid, the accused is now facing a total of 12 charges.

The accused is scheduled to appear in London court on September 4, 2019
